Berlin, March 2025 – During this year’s ITB Berlin, a significant milestone was reached for Uhob and the future of hotel video content. Leo Dammer, Co-Founder of Uhob, secured an exciting collaboration with Daniel Marx, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Urlaubsguru, to integrate Uhob Videos into Urlaubsguru’s booking platform for testing purposes.
This pilot initiative marks an important step toward establishing short-format hotel videos as a new industry standard. By giving travelers an authentic, fast, and visually consistent way to experience hotels before booking, Uhob aims to redefine how travelers discover accommodation online.
To ensure a seamless technical rollout, Uhob is implementing the integration in close cooperation with the Amadeus IT Group, one of the world’s leading travel technology providers. Together, Uhob and Amadeus are working on an efficient, scalable, and API-driven solution that will make it easy for booking platforms to display Uhob’s standardized hotel videos directly in their hotel listings.
This tripartite collaboration — Uhob, Urlaubsguru, and Amadeus — reflects a shared vision: enhancing the booking experience through transparent, trustworthy, and modern video content.
The agreement reached at ITB Berlin underscores the increasing demand for high-quality short-video formats in the travel industry. With travelers expecting more transparency and inspiration during the decision-making process, Uhob Videos offer hotels and booking platforms a powerful tool to showcase their value instantly.
